Atletico Madrid succeeded in achieving victory with a score of (2-1) during the match against Borussia Dortmund, in the match that was held at the Metropolitano Stadium this evening, Wednesday, in the first leg of Champions League quarter-finals.
Argentine player Rodrigo De Paul opened the match’s goals in the 4th minute, before his teammate Samuel Leno added the second goal in the 32nd minute, ending the first half with the hosts leading by two unanswered goals.
In the second half, Ivorian striker Sebastien Haller scored the goal to reduce the gap for Dortmund in the 81st minute, ending the match with Atletico Madrid winning by two goals to one.
Dortmund is scheduled to host Atletico Madrid at Signal Park next Tuesday, in the second leg of Champions League quarter-finals.
