Within the 25th round of the English Premier League, Brighton achieved a major victory over its host Sheffield United, with a score of 5-0, today, Sunday, Premier League.
The first half of the match saw Sheffield United’s Mason Holgate sent off with a red card in the 13th minute, Brighton opened the scoring in the 20th minute through Facundo Bonanotti, and Danny Welbeck added his team’s second goal in the 24th minute, ending the first half with the visitors leading (2-0).
In the second half, Brighton scored the third goal through Jack Robinson (an own goal) in the 75th minute, and Simon Edinger scored the fourth and fifth goals for his team in the 78th and 85th minutes, respectively.
Brighton, which is in seventh place with 38 points, will host Everton next Saturday, while Sheffield United has 13 points before visiting Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.
With this victory, Brighton raised its score to 38 points in seventh place, and Sheffield United’s score froze at 13 points in last place.
