The opening laps of the Belgian Grand Prix and pit stops, the rain chaos of the Monaco race, and the Ferrari duo’s battle in the final few laps of the Italian Grand Prix are also noteworthy moments.
The most dramatic moment was in Australia. After Sainz’s penalty, The Hulk would have been on their way to the podium had they chosen to stick with the standings set at the end of Sector 1.
Alsono and Perez in Brazil were absolutely fantastic, probably two of the best drivers all season. However, this shows the flaw of Perez’s inability to adapt quickly to other drivers. I think we saw the same thing in Austria where he couldn’t realize that Max was using DRS tactically which basically cost him the win.
It’s sad not to see Lando’s race start at Silverstone this year. It was probably one of my favorite moments, especially with the crowd cheering him vociferously on the first lap.
