South Korea draws against Malaysia in Asian Cup Highlights

South Korean team booked its place in the 16th final of the 2023 Asian Cup after drawing with Malaysia 3-3, qualifying together with Bahrain, the leader, and Jordan, which is in third place.

At the South Stadium, the South Korean team snatched a point after tying with the Malaysian team 3-3.
The Korean team ended the first half leading with a clean goal scored by Jeong Woo-young in the 21st minute.

In the second half, the Malaysian team was able to turn the score around by scoring two goals through Mohamed Faisal Abdul Halim in the 51st minute and Arif Ayman in the 61st minute from a penalty kick, but the Korean team was able to score the equalizer in the 83rd minute through Kang In Lee, and then Heung Heung scored. Min Son scored the third goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time from a penalty kick.

In the fifteenth minute of stoppage time, the Malaysian team scored the equalizer through Rommel Morales.
The Korean team raised its score to five points in second place, while the Malaysian team earned its first point and remained at the bottom of the standings.
The South Korean team will meet in the round of 16 with the leaders of Group Six, which includes the teams of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kyrgyzstan and Thailand, in which the final round matches will be held at a later time, while the Malaysian team has bid farewell to the tournament.
