Chelsea officially qualified for the round of 16 of the FA Cup after beating Aston Villa 3-1 in the fourth round of the tournament.
The goals of the London Blue team were scored by Connor Callagher in the 11th minute, Senegalese Nicholas Jackson in the 21st minute, and Argentine Ensu Fernandez in the 54th minute, while French striker Moussa Diaby scored Aston Villa’s only goal in the 90th minute (90+1).
The first match at Stamford Bridge ended in a goalless draw on January 26. Chelsea will play in the eighth final with Leeds United, who won over Plymouth Argyle 4-1 after extra time in a rematch that brought together two teams from the Championship.
With this result, Chelsea will face Leeds United in the next round at Stamford Bridge in the round of 16 of the tournament.
